GW4 HV series disconnectors are 3 phases AC 50Hz high voltage switchgears. They are used in no-load condition to switch off the electric circuit and isolate electrically the power appareatus such as high voltage bus, circuit breaker etc, and high voltage line in 35-220(245) kv power system.
This type of product can be divided into either types: without earthing switch, with single earthing switch and double earthing switches or general type: pollution- proof type and plateau type.
GW4 HV series disconnectors are of double pole structure, mainly consisting of frame, porcelains and conductive parts. Two porcelain poles of each phases are mounted respectively on bearing holders of both ends of the frame, and connected by cross links for horizontal rotation. Each of the conductive blades is divided into halves fixes on the two supporting porcelains, and the contact part is right in the middle.
The series disconnectors are mounted either without earthing switch or with one or two earthing switches, and mechanical interlock is set between the main blade and earthing switch.

1 Altitude about sea level: 1000~3000m.
2 Ambient temperature: Upper limits +40℃, lower limits-35℃?(high and cold area ≥-40℃).
3 Wind speed: not exceeding to 34m/s.
4 Earthquake intensity: not exceeding 8 degrees.
5 Ice covering thickness: not exceeding10mm.
